AusFitness Expo Sydney is back at ICC Sydney from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September, and this year’s edition is bigger than the one before it. Tickets start from $20, and organisers say this is the largest lineup of live competition the expo has staged in Sydney.

Two hybrid formats making their debut
The headline addition is the Titan Games, making its live debut at the expo. It’s the creation of Titan Fitness, the Coogee gym run by Mets Analin, built out as a 350 sqm arena on the show floor. The format is straightforward: teams of two, 48 pairs per day, racing a fixed nine-station course for a single weekend leaderboard, across men’s, women’s and mixed categories. Entry is free, the first wave goes off at 11am both Saturday and Sunday, and organisers say it’s built for first-timers as much as seasoned racers.
Alongside it is Deadly Dozen, the UK hybrid-racing format already covered in MFO’s own preview of the event — twelve running and workout stations, staged inside the expo itself.

CrossFit, strongman and more under one roof
The expo’s CrossFit Expo Games returns as an officially licensed CrossFit competition, running elite, masters and adaptive divisions across the weekend. It sits alongside a genuinely broad live-competition card: Strongman, Powerlifting, the ICN NSW Muscle & Model physique competition, Street Workout and Street Lifting all run concurrently, on top of more than 150 exhibiting brands across nutrition, supplements, apparel and training gear.

Who’s on the guest list
Confirmed on the expo’s own speaker list is Rob “The Reaper” Whittaker, the UFC middleweight great, appearing for Musashi/Chemist Warehouse. Organisers say fitness influencer Kwame Duah and TV personality Ant Middleton are also expected to appear across the weekend, alongside bodybuilding names doing exclusive workouts and Q&As on the show floor — worth checking the expo’s socials closer to the date for a confirmed appearance schedule, since guest lineups at events like this can shift.

Why it’s worth the trip
What makes AusFitness Expo hard to categorise is exactly what makes it worth a look: it’s part trade show, part spectator sport and part hands-on workout floor, all running at once. You can watch a CrossFit heat, wander past a strongman log press, get talked through a new pre-workout at a brand stand, and line up for a free hybrid race with a mate, without leaving the building.
Tickets are on sale now from $20, with the full schedule and ticket tiers at the official AusFitness Expo Sydney page.
It’s one of dozens of events on this month, from ultra trail races to powerlifting nationals — see MFO’s full September fitness events calendar for everything else worth training for.
