Netflix’s Physical 100 is coming to France, and it has the biggest-name cast of any version yet. 100% Physique, as it’s called in France, puts former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, kickboxing and MMA star Cédric Doumbè, Olympic champions and some of France’s biggest YouTubers into the same arena, with €200,000 for the winner: double Italy’s prize.
Here’s everyone confirmed so far, who they are, and what the Mexico and Italy versions tell us about who might win. We’ll update this page as Netflix announces the date and the rest of the 100. For every version and winner to date, see Physical 100 around the world.

When is Physical 100: France released?
Netflix hasn’t announced a date. The French version was revealed in July 2026 (Banijay) and What’s on Netflix said it would arrive “within the next few months”. Netflix already has a title page for Physical 100: France. French press have suggested autumn 2026 or early 2027. We’ll add the date here as soon as it’s confirmed.
The big names
Francis Ngannou
The headline act. Ngannou is a former UFC heavyweight champion, one of the hardest punchers in the sport’s history, who has since boxed Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua and fights in the PFL. He’s also the biggest body in a format that, so far, hasn’t rewarded size: see what Mexico and Italy tell us, below.
Cédric Doumbè
A former kickboxing world champion who became one of the biggest draws in French combat sport after moving to MMA with the PFL. Expect him to be dangerous in any one-on-one round.
Tibo InShape
France’s best-known fitness YouTuber, with a huge following built on training and challenge videos. A content creator with a real training base, which is exactly the profile that has gone further than expected in other versions.
The Olympians
- Estelle Mossely: Olympic boxing champion at Rio 2016.
- Romane Dicko and Amandine Buchard: two of France’s leading judoka, both Olympic medallists.

Who could win? What Mexico and Italy tell us
If the first two European and Latin American versions are any guide, don’t bet on the biggest body. Mexico was won by a 38-year-old obstacle racer. Italy’s final six included two judo champions, a surfer, a firefighter, a footballer and a DJ, and none of its heavyweights, and Italy was won by judoka Emanuele Bruno, who outlasted a firefighter in a two-hour push-of-war.
- Long holds decide a lot. Italy opened with a plank that lasted an hour and 27 minutes and cut its field to six with an hour-long hang. Grip and strength for your bodyweight matter more than size (see our dead hang guide).
- Grappling pays. Both versions used one-on-one fights for a ball early on. That’s good news for Doumbè, Ngannou and the judoka Dicko and Buchard, and Italy’s two judoka were its stand-out athletes: one won the hour-long hang, the other the whole show.
- Engines win late. Mexico’s semi-final was two 20-minute stages of sprinting laps. See every Mexico challenge and every Italy challenge.
- So watch the all-rounders: the judoka, the combat athletes with a gas tank, and anyone from CrossFit or obstacle racing among the unnamed 80.
