Who is Aimee Cringle?
Cringle was born on 24 May 1999 and grew up on the Isle of Man, the self-governing island in the Irish Sea, according to her Rogue athlete profile. She came to CrossFit as a teenager from athletics and endurance sport, which shows in her results: two of her five event wins at the 2026 Games were running races.
Her rise was quick even by CrossFit standards. She made her Games debut in 2024 and finished 13th, moved up to eighth in 2025, and was runner-up at the 2025 World Fitness Project before winning the Games outright a year later. She’s now a sponsored Rogue athlete.

How she won the 2026 CrossFit Games
The 2026 Games, the 20th edition, ended on 26 July at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, over 20 scored events, the most in the competition’s history (GOWOD). Cringle won five of them: the Ranch 7200m, the deadlift, the grass track race, the 500 run and the Triple Pig. She finished outside the top 10 only twice.
