A new Australian-born fitness racing event is about to take the world by storm. The International Olympic Committee has confirmed it as the first fitness racing Olympic sport for both LA 2028 and hopefully, they include Brisbane 2032, and Red Bull has already jumped on board as a partner.
Enter YOHKA, the next obsession for those who want to push their limits and test their fitness. YOHKA offers a diverse range of thrilling events, from their Dynamic Pursuit Course which was inspired by Urban TAG, to a 100-metre short course, a 5km and 10km course.
Consisting of a snappy 100-metre course, the Sprint Series will debut at Melbourne’s AusFitness Expo from 29-30 March 2025 in Melbourne. The short course will give participants a taste of what to expect from an Olympic course.

What is YOHKA?
Think Urban TAG meets Spartan Race, with events that challenge your speed, agility, and endurance like nothing else out there. YOHKA features multiple race formats, including a 100-metre short course, plus 5km and 10km endurance options. But don’t let the short course fool you—this isn’t your average sprint.
With 12 brutal obstacles designed to test your power, coordination, and mental toughness, the YOHKA Sprint Series will be an all-out war against the clock. Expect to push your body to the limit in a high-energy, music-fueled battle that mimics what we’ll see on the Olympic stage in LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032.

Your Shot at Glory—And Cash Prizes
The first YOHKA Sprint Series event will debut at Melbourne’s AusFitness Expo from 29-30 March 2025. Not only will competitors get to experience the most intense 100-metre dash of their lives, but they’ll also be competing for cash prizes. The top three finishers each day will walk away with cash and an invite to AusFitness Sydney (19-21 September 2025), where new challenges—and more prize money—await.
Todd Liubinskas, YOHKA’s Brand Manager and an experienced Strength & Conditioning Coach, warns that this will be “the toughest 100 metres most people will ever do.” He adds, “It may not sound like much, but those 12 obstacles will humble even the fittest athletes. Expect the unexpected.”
