An Aussie brand is attempting to making affordable fitness gear. How will they go?
In this day and age, money matters, and there’s not much left over in everyone’s budget. Doyoueven, an Aussie-made fitness brand, has taken up the challenge, made affordable fitness gear, and secured distribution through Big W, hoping to help Aussies stretch their fitness dollars further.
The strategy is simple: make affordable, quality fitness gear for men and women readily available to the Australian public. Will they succeed? Well, they sent us some gear to try out. Upon opening the promptly delivered Big W pack, the first observation is that the price does not match the quality between your fingers. Here’s the DYE cut-off T that retails for $18—but it feels like a brand-name similar T-shirt I paid $60 for.
The clothing is well-made, with good stitching and fit. The men’s range is masculine in colour, and the cut fits most average-muscled guys. Training in the gear is no different to the quality of Under Armour or Adidas. It breathes, isn’t restrictive, and is comfortable for a long workout. It didn’t pull with the groundwork, and I thought I looked pretty good going through a workout.

This collection is about being sensible and making your fitness dollar stretch further. It is a budget-friendly line of fitness gear that doesn’t yell the brand name. It is affordable, looks pretty good, works fine and is cheap. What’s not to like?
