Ooh-la-la! Want sexier dreams?
Add some bow-chicka-wow-wow to your sleep.
Ooh-la-la! A study at Shue Yan University in Hong Kong of 670 students — two-thirds of them female — has found that those who slept on their fronts were more likely to have erotic dreams.
The prone sleepers reported dreaming of subjects including “sex”, “persecution”, “being tied up” and having a secret, famous admirer.
The study, published in the journal Dreaming, suggests the reason could be because those who sleep on their fronts don’t get as much oxygen — making the brain send confused messages about being constricted into the interpretive pool of your dreams.
“The unconscious brains of the dreamers try to make sense, and even make use of, the external stimuli,” said researcher Calvin Kai-Ching Yu.
