I felt unstoppable after crossing the finish line of my first Ironman triathlon. But then I looked in the mirror and I was frozen to the spot in horror.

Months of brutal training in the sun, wind, and saltwater had all but wrecked my skin. It was dry, cracked, and rough as sandpaper. So, I did what my mates were doing – I stole my girlfriend’s skincare products and went to town with them, and boy did I regret it. The creams were nice enough but they just didn’t work and they were burning a hole in my wallet. That’s when I knew I had to find something better.

Queue my almost biblical quest for the holy skincare grail. But the idea for EDGE wasn’t an epiphany; it was born out of pure frustration.
